Our Staff
Phil Croucher
Phil is the Administrator, and Head Of Training for Caledonian Advanced Pilot Training, the sponsors of this site.
Why This Site?
Enrico (aka Savoia) has long wanted to start his own forum, due to his passion for aviation, but there is a big difference between cobbling together the odd post and being responsible for something like this. Meanwhile, an old acquaintance, Phil Croucher, was needing a way for his students and instructors to interact from the remote places they often found themselves in. The logo uses a roundel that is a composite of the Royal Air Force and Aeronautica Militare (Italian Air Force) roundels, symbolising the cooperation between them. A similar device was employed by the Anglo-German-Italian consortium, Panavia Aircraft. The blue and green in the text again represents the British-Italian cooperation, and the light blue text of the motto and the feathered wing represents the sky.
