2-ALOU Change of Ownership
The latest Guernsey register shows that 2-ALOU had a change of ownership on 24.10.19.
This was mentioned before above with a picture of what looked like Richard Hammond as pilot ? Could he be the new owner ?

Avia Member Kirill's New Lama!
740 at Zheleznogorsk Airport (180 kilometers east of Bratsk)
The Lena river in Irkutsk province
SA315B RA-05740 (cn.2654) as seen in the Lena river area within the Irkutsk region of Russia (270 kilometers northeast of Bratsk) on 6th December 2019 (Photos courtesy of Avia member Kirill)
Kirill has during this past week taken delivery of this lovely Lama, RA-05740, which is former Swiss Helicopters bird HB-XTM. '740' has been fitted long-range tanks (which can be seen surrounding the main tank) and will join Kirill's Gazelle in Bratsk. Helicopters are a little like horses, in that they enjoy stable mates!
We wish Kirill and those with him, many hours of safe and happy flying.
Our congratulations to Kirill on acquiring his first Lama!

Yes I was aware of G-BZDV being there. Will check the Scout situation and post after weekend.

I heard that there had been some Scout movements this year in the UK, would be great to find out what the current status is.
Are you aware that the Gazelle G-BZDV has also been resident at Sopers Farm? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Lsw6vgyRYY

To my astonishment while I was trawling through some pin badges in an antique shop in Alnwick, Northumberland I found four helicopter badges.
Two were of Alouette/Lama lifting fire fighting buckets and the third was an Alouette III. The fourth was an AS350B.
I will photograph them this weekend and upload them on Sunday evening.

While in the UK it was owned by Peter John Bamford and based at his home near Manchester where he had a helipad and hangar. He has also owned G-GGTT a Bell 47G-4A and G-SAND Schweizer S269C. The Alouette came after the Bell 47 so I guess around 2005-2008 ?

If my memory is correct N280DB was at one time based in the UK !
