    Puerto Rican Gazelles

This aircraft has a similar livery to N102PR so it may have belonged to the Electric Power Authority.

There were three SA341G at the time there: c/n 1527 & 1060 operated by Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority and #1154 of Puerto Rico Water Resources Authority.

Ha ha, yes .. there are a handful of 'embarrassing' aeronautical designs in Italy's history .. and that is one of them!

Remember we discussed here about who invented fenestron-type tail rotor? http://www.aviafora.com/forums/forum...2719#post12719

Well, Italians gave their contribution as well:

The project was abandoned... luckily, let me add. The country of design, Lamborghini and Ferrari could better. This is just for teasing Sav

Do we know anyone in Renault Goup?

  • Savoia
    commented on 's reply
Yes, as Helico wrote, it looks like they brought in the Gazelles and as mentioned, I'm guessing (but of course, can't be sure) that with four machines and being a Renault ad, most probably Aérospatiale supplied them.

Prehaps the only real way one could find out is if Renualt keep some sort of archives in which there may well be photos from the event.

In addition to the previous post I managed to find this photo

Sadly, no closer to the machines identity info.

Most likely they weren't Polizei ones. One of them was 'stretched' version, as could be seen on the photo.
