          • A Gazelle from 654 Sqn AAC, from June 1990.

This aircraft was flown by the Squadron Qualified Helicopter Instructor, Bruce Stewart, now a member of the Gazelle Squadron Display Team.

Nice performance Mr. Stewart! Was it a barrel-roll, by any chance?

You may find that Bruce is a little bit more than a member!

Do you remember our post from 13th May on page 62 in which we reported a Gaz driver interrupting a display by the Red Arrows in the UK?

Well, the driver has now been prosecuted.

Hopefully Andrew will have his licence back soon and will successfully steer clear of the Red Arrows in the times ahead!

You may read the details here: http://www.caa.co.uk/News/Pilot-guil...rrows-display/

                            • I came across a web page with Gazelle postcards at
                              http://helicopterpostcards.czweb.org...&ShowType=Show

I am much interested to learn more about the Gazelle labelled F-ZKCX, being a French ALAT Gazelle with HOT missiles, also to be seen directly at
                              http://download.muzo.cz/pz/hp/hpi/1001-1500/1133.jpg

This registration is not in my database, but seems to be c/n 1732, coded SH (which is not an ALAT code). Anyone having more information?

I have another cover from the same day signed by additional members of the team.

To see black and whites of this team flying at Middle Wallop two days before this cover, go to the post at the top of the page.

Navy Wings has accepted ex-RN Gazelle XX 436 as an Associate aircraft.

One of the owners, Andy Moorhouse, flew the aircraft to Yeovilton along with Wilf Hyde Smith (ex Army Air Corps) and Andy Morley, the Gazelle Squadron PR officer. As Andy Moorhouse is a qualified helicopter flying instructor, he was able to take our CEO, Cdre Jock Alexander, for a quick spin about the local area and it all came flooding back to Jock, some 34 years after he had flown this very aircraft on 705 Naval Air Squadron
