Britain's Highest Pub!
At the top of the Yorkshire Dales, 1,732 feet above sea-level and 11 miles from the nearest town, sits the Tan Hill Inn, a 17th century pub which lays claim to being the highest in Britain!

A quote from the site reads:
Airbus Helicopters Romania is a specialized maintenance and repair centre for a wide range of helicopters, both civil and military, operating in Romania and elsewhere in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The company is already known worldwide for its capacity, craftsmanship and sense of duty in performing repair, overhaul and upgrading on the entire old range (Puma and Gazelle), the Super Puma, the Daphin / Panther, the Ecureuil families and the H135 helicopter.
For those of us less familiar with the world of Gazelles, can anyone offer an indication as to how long Airbus/Eurocopter/Aérospatiale/Sud have been overhauling Gazelles in Romania?

Gazelles in Romania
This is very interesting Zis.
I was going to say that after looking at the Airbus Romania website that their service seemed to offer an alternative to the Valence-based Aerotec Group but .. perhaps Aerotec is involved in this venture in some way, although it seems now to be under the Airbus umbrella?
I wonder how their overhaul prices compare?
I have to say that I've not commonly heard of Gazelles being overhauled in Romania and which is why I was asking how long they have been doing this.

Arrgh, please don't remind me as this one is still in my "Unknown Gazelles" file. I assume it's an SA.341G delivered to Venezuela back in mid 1970's but can't find any proof for that.
A few years ago I spotted this blurry image on the Internet and I think its the same machine.
It was poorly scanned out of an old Aerospatiale brochure which appeared for sale on eBay. Sadly some other bidder offered more for the item!
