Dear Friends
Aviafora's co-founder Filippo (Phil Croucher) and I, have been discussing plans for the overhaul of Aviafora, and while this probably will not commence until next year, we have decided to temporarily move Shrieking Gazelles to a Facebook group.
Aviafora already manages a number of aviation Facebook groups, and it was felt that until we can revamp Avia, this move will best serve our community.
If you are not a Facebook fan, then rest assured, you have my utmost understanding as it took several of my friends some persuasion before I eventually opened an account. But I would ask those of our members without an account to kindly consider opening one on a temporary basis just until we can return Shrieking Gazelles to Aviafora.
This move is scheduled to take place early next week and at that time we will also provide notification of the Group's Facebook address.
I apologise for the inconvenience this may cause some, but also encourage you to join us on our Facebook journey, just until we can return to a renewed and upgraded Aviafora.
Grazie mille and thank you for your understanding.

Seeing as Zishelix started this thread, it seems only fitting to conclude it with what I think is one of his favourite Gazelles.
Shrieking Gazelles .. round one .. from 5th February 2014 to 10th August 2024
Join us for round two .. commencing on Facebook Groups on 12th August
God willing, Shrieking Gazelles round three will return to Avia once we have overhauled the site

Shrieking Gazelles has now moved to Facebook, just until we can revamp Aviafora and return the conversation here.
If you are not a social media/Facebook fan, then we genuinely symathise, but would nonetheless ask that you kindly consider opening
a temporary Facebook account in order to join us for Shrieking Gazelles Round Two
Thank you for your support during these first ten years
