Surely they must be 341H not 341G as those serial numbers are Yugo and they didn’t make any 341G
-
Yes, 'H' models.
087 has been up for sale on the GazMart for a while: http://www.aviafora.com/forums/forum...1284#post11284

Question about F-GRVC
Apparently the ex-Serbian Gazelle c/n 1164 (Serbian serial 12607) became F-GRVC in 1996, as shown by various references. However, the DGAC online register has no record of either F-GRVC nor of a Gazelle with c/n 1164 (which by itself does not prove anything). Nor can I find any reported sightings of this Gazelle. Is there any confirmation that F-GRVC ever existed as such?

Army Lecture: Life as a Ground Crewman during the Cold War
The story of the British Army of the Rhine is inseparable from the forty-six-year long narrative of the Cold War. Generations of British service personnel served alongside our NATO allies, facing the massed forces of the Soviet Union, and the Warsaw Pact across the North German Plain. The prospect of the cold war turning hot was a grim one.
SA341B in Germany in the 1980's
Mike Peters was posted to BAOR in 1981, arriving at 664 Squadron AAC in Minden as an Air Trooper fresh from training at Middle Wallop. The Cold War was still very much real, but like so many of the young soldiers that made up the AAC regiments in Germany, he quickly found out that there was lighter side to defending democracy from Soviet aggression. Daily life was not all damp woods and crash outs in the night.
Watch this Lockdown Lecture for a fascinating insight into what life was like in the BAOR of the eighties and as a Ground Crewman in Germany.

Gazelle Squadron / Falcon Aviation Relocation
We have been advised that Bourne Park is now closed and is subject to a private development.
The Gazelle Squadron, so we understand, will move to Landmead Farm in East Hanney to where G-TSTR flew yesterday.
The Gaz Squad also has access to a smaller private site which we may be able to provide details of in the future.
Bruce Stuart and Paul Whitaker are directors of both the Gaz Squad and Falcon Aviation.

Unidentified Combat Gazelle
Interesting photo of a Gazelle fitted with dual machine-guns, but sadly no further info.

Zis, a true gem, very nice find as ever. This is SA 341F cn1255, used for many years by the GAM/STAT, the ALAT unit in charge of trials and experiments, to test many different weapons. Here it is fitted with the Aramis rotating turret. Note that it seems that the RH machine-gun pair looks where the observation sight does!
-
I have no clue, I believe it was just one amongst many other trials undertaken with the GAM STAT. The caliber looks fairly small (7,62?) and the pods are really cumbersome, the laterally mounted 20mm gun fitted from the early 80's was certainly much more a potent weapon.
